In a recent meta-analysis of PEA involving a total of 1484 chronic pain patients, those taking PEA reported pain levels an average of 2.7 points lower than the control groups after 60 days.* (Paladini 2016)

The Synergistic Combination of PEA & Luteolin

When combined, PEA and luteolin show enhanced anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant and neuroprotective properties. Coadministration of PEA with luteolin has been shown to decrease mast cell activation significantly more than PEA or luteolin alone. This combination has been shown to reduce pro-inflammatory cytokines (TNF-alpha, IL-1 beta, IL-6) and chemokines (MIP-1 alpha, MIP-2) significantly more than PEA or luteolin alone. Additionally, PEA with luteolin was shown to reduce oxidative and nitrosative damage more effectively than PEA or luteolin alone.* (Impellizzeri 2018)

PEA occurs naturally in the body and in many foods. No side effects have been reported with its use, even at the highest doses. (Gabrielsson 2016)
The recommended daily dose of Mirica® is equivalent to the amount of luteolin found in one artichoke. At this dose luteolin is safe and no side effects have been reported.

RETURNS

Our Return Policy lasts 30 days. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, unopened and in the same condition in which it was received.

Gave me an allergic reaction

I heard and read such great things about PEA for nerve pain. I took Mirica for two weeks and in the first few days my night leg cramps lessened, but then my stomach became upset and my under eyes swelled up, turned red and it looked like I had two black eyes. My doctor said to try a different brand without luteolin, which I did, but I had the same reaction. I haven't read of any side effects accept stomach distress, but the swelling was definitely from the PEA because once I stopped taking it my under eyes cleared up, so did my stomach and I felt better. I ordered a second bottle a few days after starting Miraca and asked for a refund. On 3/12, two weeks ago, I shipped back the unopened package with the unopened bottle of Mirica I had ordered, but I haven't seen the refund yet.

First Experience with Mirica

Mirica does have 1 side effect similar to CBD if taken as prescribed when first starting out on this supplement. It causes sleepiness, so I would recommend starting out slow with one capsule at a time as needed to relieve the sleepiness effect (relaxation of the body). I will continue to take Mirica, I believe it has some good potential.

Wow! I am astonished at how great this pain relief supplement is!!!

Absolutely gobsmacked at how wonderfully this product acts to relieve chronic pain. As everyone who endures pain every day knows life becomes nearly intolerable at times. Being dependent upon chemical pain relief prescriptions is misery and adds to the burden of the liver and kidneys to keep a person healthy. Finding this product is a blessing. It has minimized the deep bone pain from fractures old and more recent, to a manageable status. I am thrilled and grateful.
